What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Assembler/Shop Technician position at Cabinetry Concepts?
The Role
We’re looking for a Cabinet Assembler who takes pride in clean, accurate work and can keep up in a production environment. You’ll be responsible for assembling cabinets that are ready for install — no shortcuts, no callbacks.
Responsibilities
1. Assemble cabinets from pre-cut parts and CNC components
2. Install hinges, drawer slides, and hardware
3. Glue, clamp, and square cabinets accurately
4. Read and follow shop drawings
5. Identify and fix minor issues before they become problems
6. Maintain a clean, organized workspace
7. Assist with shop flow and production as needed
Requirements
1. 1 year experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or similar trade
2. Ability to read a tape measure accurately
3. Strong attention to detail (square, flush, consistent reveals)
4. Reliable, on time, and ready to work
5. Ability to lift 50 lbs
Bonus
1. Experience with custom cabinetry (not big box assembly)
2. Familiar with edge banders, table saw / panel saw, and basic shop tools
3. Understanding of cabinet construction methods
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
