Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within the warehouse environment. Duties
- Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners
- Prepare items for shipment by organizing and filing documents accurately
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
- Perform heavy lifting tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and update digital records
- Assist in the loading of delivery vehicles ensuring correct placement and securement of goods
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse distribution environment preferred, not mandatory-will train.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
