Project Manager must have knowledge of millwork materials, finishes and hardware. Ability to reach architectural and shop drawings. Strong scheduling and multitasking skills. Construction accounting and cost tracking. Good communication and problem-solving under pressure. Responsible for pre-construction and planning. Review contracts, drawings, specs and scope for accuracy and constructability. Clarify design with architects, designers and engineers. Identify long-lead times for specialty products. Develop project scheduels with shop capacity and site needs. Prepare and review budgets, estimates and cost breakdowns. Manage submittals: show drawings, samples, finishes and hardware.Track approvals and revisions to avoid delays.Ensure drawings reflect field conditions and coordination with other trades.Coordinate with shop foreman and production team. Verify materials, finishes and hardware match approved submittals. Coordinate with purchasing dept. on ordering of all materials. Track deliveries and resolve shortages and timing issues. Coordinate site measurements and field verifications. Schedule site deliveries and installation.
