Kitchen & Bath Designer (Flexible Contract Position)

Love designing beautiful kitchens and bathrooms, but not looking for a traditional 40-hour work week?

Cabinet IQ is building our flagship showroom in Wexford, and we're looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to partner with us on a flexible, project-based basis.

Whether you're returning to the workforce, looking for supplemental income, or simply want the flexibility to design without the demands of a full-time sales role, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Meet homeowners in their homes to take field measurements (when needed)
• Design beautiful, functional kitchens and bathrooms using 2020 Design software
• Create cabinetry layouts and product selections that reflect each client's style, needs, and budget
• Revise designs based on client feedback
• Collaborate with the owner throughout the design process
• Participate in occasional client presentations, either virtually or in person
• Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from concept to completion

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of kitchen and bath design experience
• Proficiency with 2020 Design software
• Strong understanding of cabinetry, space planning, and kitchen design principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about great design

Position Details

Employment Type: Flexible Contract / Project-Based

Schedule: Flexible. Work is assigned based on project volume, allowing you to create a schedule that works for you.

Location: North Pittsburgh, PA

Cabinet IQ is currently building our showroom in Wexford. While our showroom is under construction, work will primarily consist of remote collaboration, client home visits when needed, and occasional in-person meetings. As our business grows, this opportunity has the potential to evolve into a larger ongoing role.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
