Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Supply Chain Collaboration
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and Supply Chain Operations to support pricing strategies, product utilization, and operational improvements.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and supply chain operations regarding equipment, supplies, and product substitutions.
- Assist with physician product requests, equipment evaluations, and product trials.
- Support physician onboarding by communicating current contracts, equipment, and supply standards.
- Maintain records of equipment inventories and service agreements within assigned areas.
- Assist clinical departments with capital equipment planning, budgeting, and service agreement management.
- Analyze operational, financial, and utilization data to support decision-making and departmental initiatives.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations related to clinical operations, supply utilization, contracts, and financial performance.
- Lead analysis of equipment and supply requests submitted through PENT committees.
- Facilitate approved product and equipment trials and ensure appropriate protocols and data collection processes are followed.
- Support system-wide alignment, standardization, and contract compliance efforts.
- Assist with substitute item approvals when products are backordered, recalled, or discontinued.
- Collaborate with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Purchasing Collaborative representatives to evaluate contract opportunities and savings initiatives.
- Work with vendors to support organizational initiatives while ensuring compliance with credentialing requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Represent the interests of clinical and supply chain operations on the MHN Products Committee.
- Support projects designed to improve operational efficiency, patient care delivery, and financial performance.
- Assist departments in maintaining compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality indicator data and benchmark information.
- Prepare reports evaluating the impact of operational changes and improvement initiatives.
