Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time Staff Development Instructor to work in our Clinical Training and Development department.
The Staff Development Instructor is responsible for assessing and meeting the educational needs of nursing service personnel. This would include planning, implementing and evaluating programs for orientation, skills training and continuing education. The instructor incorporates knowledge of human development and needs of specific age groups from infancy to older adulthood into the content of educational activities and policy development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree of Nursing required
- Masters Degree of Nursing Preferred
- Current WV RN license required
- CPR / BLS required
- BLS Instructor within a year of hire required
- ANA Certification in Nursing Professional Development or specialty preferred
- 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred
