Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Registration Supervisor to oversee the Registration Department.
The incumbent is responsible for supervising the Registrars on day and evening shift, assuring that adequate coverage is maintained. Coordinates the collection of information for Ambulance/Trauma patients. Supervises the day to day operations of the Registration Department (Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Room Registration.) Monitors employee production and quality of output of the Registration process. Communicates with the Emergency Room manager in charge, nursing floor managers in charge and Nursing Supervisor in charge to coordinate the efforts of the Registration department.
The incumbent will be working swing shifts.
Qualifications:
- Two years experience in patient accounts, registration or business management required.
- Completion of business courses and an interest in continuing education on management and related courses desirable.
- Must possess excellent public relation skills.
- Previous supervisory experience desirable.
- Computer experience required.
- Typing skills of 55 wpm required.
