St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Tech II for our Cath Lab Department. The Radiology Tech II, under the direction of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager or authorized designee, is responsible for high quality angiography, operation of all equipment in the laboratory, and the care and safety of the patient while undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. In addition to being available for emergency call procedures.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology and currently licensed in the State of West Virginia. Compliant with WVRRT licensure and ARRT.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience as cardiovascular technologist desirable. One year work experience as cardiovascular technologist is preferred.
SKILLS:
Ability to use a variety of stationary and mobile diagnostic x-ray producing and imaging equipment and accessories. Knowledge of catheterization principles and sterile techniques desirable. BLS required.
