What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Lab Tech/ Med Tech position at Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary?
Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to work in our Laboratory/Night Shift Department.
Candidates interviewed for this role will be asked to present proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of the interview. Candidates unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- High School diploma and the appropriate education and training as specified by CLIA 1988 regulations.
- Registered as MT or MLT or eligible. Must successfully complete the MT or MLT certification within one year of employment at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
- WV State licensure as Clinical Laboratory Practitioner.
