Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Janitor Attendant.
The incumbent will be responsible for cleaning OR Suites, mopping floor, taking out the trash, linen and case carts.
Qualifications:
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
- Willing to work on unscheduled days to help unit achieve adequate coverage.
- Demonstrates ability to set priorities and assist others as needs arise.
- All behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork that is congruent with facility standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.
- Terminally clean OR Suites, mopping floor, taking out the trash, linen and case carts.
- Maintains a neat, clean appearance with visible picture ID badge consistent with dress code.
- Participates in the terminal cleaning process of each operating room as needed even if no procedure has been performed in the room. See terminal clean process assignment.
- Understanding the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- To do a visual inspection to ensure that all OR Suites are placed back into readiness for next day service.
- Up to One year of position related experience required
