St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Admitting Clerk. The Admitting Clerk, under the supervision of the Manager of Admissions or designee, performs duties of admitting patients into the Medical Center as emergency, outpatient, or inpatient status. Duties include checking daily census, bed data, pre-registration, pre-certification and performing other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to use computer and type. Should have pleasant personality for meeting the public and should be able to meet all situations with tact and poise. High school graduate or equivalent. Business training, computer training and medical terminology would be valuable. Some experience in an office or hospital would be helpful.
