What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Operations Manager position at Cabarrus Health Alliance?
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday
Hiring Range: $64,500.00 - $78,400.00
The Behavioral Health Program Manager will ensure policies are current, budgets are monitored and required trainings are up to date. The Operations Manager will remain abreast of and monitor all LME/MCO, Medicaid and AA requirements as well as develop policies that align with those requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative duties and operations of Behavioral Health Department
- Oversee operations of SUN and RISE clinics
- Track budgets for each specific Behavioral Health program
- Complete and submit scheduled data collection for programs
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work or public health; or degree with focus on public health or policy and experience in the field of public health or behavioral health; or High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of public health or behavioral health in the areas of finance, policy or administration
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
- General knowledge of medical billing and grant reporting
- Ability to read, operationalize and translate complex information into program policy as related to Medicaid and MCO requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
- Possess ability to manage work flow and coordinate activities
- Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing with community organizations, the public, the MCO, State Consultants, program staff and other departments within CHA
- Ability to solve problems within a scope of responsibility, take initiative and be detail oriented
- Must be self motivated, flexible, innovative and possess strong organizational skills
- General knowledge of maintaining schedule, manage deadlines, organize data, run reports and present information
- Possess ability to project positive image and maintain professional interactions with community professionals, volunteers, general public, clients, agency personnel and other community contacts
