Hiring range for this position is $35,776.00 - $42,764.80. Initial placement for new employees is customarily at entry level through 35% percentile. Pay grade for this position is 11.
General Definition of Work:

- Opens and closes park location to which assigned. Secures park buildings at closing.
- Supervises concession, pool and facility operators.
- Collects and accounts for fees.
- Monitors and supervises the Barn at Frank Liske Park when reserved.
- Patrols parks to ensure patron use, safety and enjoyment.
- Responds to inquiries and assists Park visitors by explaining park features, need for conservation.
- Ensures Park facilities and grounds are clean, safe, sanitized, and stocked with supplies.
- Enforces Park rules and regulations.
- Enforces ordinances regulating use of County Parks and facilities and State Fishing regulations
- Directs traffic and assists with special events.
- Assists in the preparation and presentation of park interpretive programs and special events.
- Assists in set-up, clean up or repair of park facilities.
- Maintains Park equipment. Submits work orders for repairs.
- Takes reservations and reviews on-line reservation system regularly.
- Maintains records and prepares reports on park activities.
- Performs related tasks as required.
