Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS system Toast ensuring clear communication of menu options and specials
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS is highly desirable
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse environments
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and create positive guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management accurately
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
