Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Reporting to the Manager OP Imaging Center*, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures. Pay Range: 41.17 - 57.63 REQUIREMENTS: 1. Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required. 2. Recent CT experience is required. 3. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred. 4. Current CRT certification with the State of California is required. 5. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography is required; advanced ARRT certification in CT also is required. 6. Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position. 7. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 8. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations with little guidance is required. 9. Ability to function as a resource, actively participating in training and orientation of coworkers and students is required. 10. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.
