Culture Forward is a $5 million grant initiative by The Svane Family Foundation supporting arts and culture projects that attract families, students, and young professionals to Downtown San Francisco. Grants are open to individual artists, collectives, and arts and culture organizations. Applications opened on January 7th, 2025, and will remain open on a rolling bases through 2027. Grant projects will be reviewed and awarded quarterly. The next deadline is 11:59PM on December 1, 2025.
Applicants may submit one application per quarterly grant cycle. If you applied in one cycle, you are eligible to apply again in the next.
