2026 Call for Youth Artists: Leimert Park Day of Ancestors: Festival of Masks

LA Commons is searching for a team of Youth Artists (Age 15-29) to work with cultural artists to learn about healing arts and traditions of Africa and the Diaspora, and to design and create masks and giant puppets for the 2026 Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks at the Leimert Park Art Walk.

Informational Meeting and First Session: Thursday, April 10th, 2026 5:00 PM via Zoom

Workshop Dates: Thursdays and Saturdays from April-June 2026

Meeting Location: 4343 Leimert Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008

Time: Thursdays 5-7pm, Saturdays 12-2pm
