Under the general direction of the Fire Chief, the Associate Hazardous Materials Specialist will ensure that the facility remains in compliance with all local, State, and Federal Laws and Regulations regarding hazardous substances handling, storage, and disposal.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

Working Conditions
California Medical Facility (CMF), located in a unique spot in Vacaville, CA. Unique as in being surrounded by many areas for family fun, exercise, touristy adventures and more. Approximately 35 miles east of downtown Sacramento, approximately 53 miles west of Pier 39 in San Francisco, and if you want to meet in the middle you can swing by Napa which is approximately 30 miles west. Also located nearby are the Vacaville Outlets for all your shopping needs.
