Position Summary
C5T is seeking a Senior Mission Assurance Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary action research team supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory and USTRANSCOM. This role employs in-depth understanding of DoD Mission Assurance and USTRANSCOM operations to conduct multiple complex projects in support of organizational improvement goals.
Location: Scott Air Force Base, IL (USTRANSCOM HQ). Primarily in government workspaces, with some time in company offices and occasional telework.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working groups with HQ staff and component commands.

Assess mission assurance procedures, coordination mechanisms, and integration points with operational planning.

Coordinate with interagency and coalition partners to identify leading practices.

Collaborate with the research team and stakeholders to design and conduct organizational improvement efforts.

Stay current with DoD and USTRANSCOM mission assurance policies.

Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support findings and document the impact of improvements.

Translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Prepare and deliver high-quality briefings and reports for senior leaders.

Contribute to after-action reviews and recommend corrective actions.

Document activities in accordance with all applicable policies.

Ensure compliance with classification and security requirements.
Required Qualifications

7 years relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Deep understanding of mission assurance concepts, risk management, and operational planning principles.

Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative, joint headquarters environments.

Strong critical and systems thinking skills.

Proven writing and briefing skills.

Ability to engage senior leaders in conceptual discussions on operational concepts and processes.

Adaptability to shifting operational priorities.

Familiarity with DoD writing styles.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.

U.S. citizenship.
