GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
To effectively plan, monitor, and control manufactured and purchased parts required to meet the Master Production Schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicates departmental needs and shortages through all production flow paths in order to meet schedule.
- Interfaces with various support functions to prevent schedule misses.
- Provides feedback to the Production Control Analyst and Master Scheduler in order to prioritize and balance workloads.
- iProvide assistance to the Production Control Analyst and departmental supervisors to ensure open issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Tracks outsourced materials.
- Coordinates manufacturing of spare parts in order to maintain schedule requirements.
- iRecommend continuous improvements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years production control experience.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Office environment.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
