Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric expertise to design and develop scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Lakehouse/Medallion architectures using Fabric and Azure.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, Synapse, Fabric Data Pipelines, and Databricks.
- Develop transformations using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Implement Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, shortcuts, governance & monitoring.
- Work with Azure ADLS, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hub, Key Vault, and DevOps.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and security using Microsoft Purview.
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams; mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills
- 7 years in data engineering.
- Expertise in Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Databricks).
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines).
- Strong SQL, PySpark, Python.
- Experience with Delta Lake, data modeling, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
Preferred Skills
- Fabric Real-Time Intelligence, cost governance, Power BI (Direct Lake).
- Certifications: DP-203, Fabric Analytics Engineer, AZ-305.
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
