Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Resource & Systems Management
- These tasks reflect the core responsibilities of the analyst role in managing and improving library systems and digital infrastructure.
- Manages and serves as a point of contact for assigned databases and subscriptions.
- Supports the content curation, operations and administration of the organization’s internal knowledge management system and other research databases.
- Troubleshoots and resolves connectivity and access issues to electronic resources.
- Create, design, edit, and maintain library SharePoint Modern pages.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
- These tasks demonstrate the analytical nature of the role, supporting decision-making and service improvement.
- Analyzes and summarizes data from spreadsheets and documents to support monthly statistics reporting, identify patterns, and contribute to service improvements.
- Assists in preparing reports and presentations utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
3. User Engagement & Instruction
- These tasks support user education and engagement, contributing to the library’s visibility and impact.
- Assists in giving library overview and instruction sessions, creating user guides, videos, and tutorials as needed.
- Develops and promotes library programs, products, and services by creating engaging digital content across multiple platforms to enhance visibility and user engagement.
4. Research & Access Services
- These tasks ensure users have access to needed materials and support research workflows.
- Serves as a point of contact for article requests and Inter-Library Loan (ILL).
- Monitors and responds to staff email information requests
- Provides information desk coverage and assists with circulation, cataloguing and other physical library duties and projects as assigned
5. Administrative & Collaborative Support
- These tasks reflect operational support and collaboration across teams.
- Coordinates and documents staff meetings, synthesizing key insights and action items
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in library sciences or related field OR associate’s degree
- 3 years of experience in a library or library related environment
- Knowledge of and experience in utilizing an integrated library system. Familiarity with EOS.Web is a plus.
- Ability to use library software applications, integrated library platforms, and other information technology
- Knowledge and Use of GEN AI a plus
- Knowledge of current cataloging standards, practices, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of searching the Web and commercial database services
- Ability to work independently, within a collaborative structure, and in a high-production environment
- Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
All full-time employees can accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per calendar year based on the period of continuous employment with C5i, with PTO accrual beginning at 15 days per calendar year and increasing to 20 days per calendar year commencing on the fifth anniversary of your continuous employment with C5i.
C5i offers healthcare benefits to all eligible employees working 30 hours or more per week, effective the first of the month following their date of hire. C5i pays 75% of the healthcare premiums (Medical and Vision) and 70% (Dental) for the employee and their dependents. C5i pays for 100% of the premiums for basic life insurance/AD&D and Long Term disability for the employee
C5i offers participation in a 401k Retirement Plan (Plan) sponsored by the Company for eligible employees that allows income to be set aside for retirement. All eligible employees are eligible to participate in the Plan beginning the first of the month following three months of employment. The Company’s current practice is to match 50% employee’s contribution on 4% salary with cap of 2% salary, subject to any applicable limitations under the Plan’s terms. The Company contribution to the Plan is discretionary match and subject to change.
C5i will reimburse tuition/fees up to $1,500 per year (based on date of joining) for approved courses related to the duties required.
