Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Steward to support client’s R&D data management initiatives. The role will be pivotal in ensuring that assets (e.g., drugs, compounds, pipelines) are uniquely and correctly tagged within the Master Data Management (MDM) system, enabling consistency, accuracy, and alignment across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain master data for R&D assets, ensuring accuracy, uniqueness, and alignment across markets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies to align on definitions, standards, and governance for R&D data assets.
• Support R&D pipeline data management end-to-end, ensuring smooth integration with MDM processes.
• Contribute to data quality initiatives by defining rules, validating data, and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Document definitions, rules, and metadata and ensure they are embedded in the system.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Data, R&D, IT, Governance) to drive data consistency and usability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7 years of experience in data stewardship / data management / data governance.
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality management.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, queries, and analysis.
• Familiarity with R&D pipelines in pharma/healthcare and their end-to-end lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams on definitions and standards.
• Experience working with data quality tools (any, no specific tool required).
