Full Job Description

C4SEM® Security & Investigation Services is actively recruiting Armed Security Officers to support security operations at Government locations. This position is responsible for protecting personnel, property, and critical infrastructure in accordance with government facilities standards and contract requirements.

C4SEM® is a trusted provider of armed security, protective services, and mission support solutions to government and commercial clients. Our personnel operate with professionalism, discipline, and vigilance to safeguard national security assets and ensure operational readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid Social Security card
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Must meet one or more of the following experience/education requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years of armed security or law enforcement experience; OR
• Minimum two (2) years of honorable service in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces; OR
• Minimum 60 college credit hours in a related field from an accredited institution; OR
• Successful completion of a federal/state-certified law enforcement training academy
• Recently retired police officer or federal agent
• Cuttent TN Armed guard permit / license, asp/expanded baton training and targas training certificate
• Must meet all medical and physical fitness standards required by the contract
• Must pass background investigation and meet U.S. Government suitability requirements
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required)
• Must be legally authorized to carry a firearm
• Must successfully complete all required training and certifications

Candidates must possess or be able to obtain the following:

• 40-Hour Initial Firearms Training
• 64/72-Hour Basic Security Officer Training
• Refresher Training (if prior certification exceeds 3 years)
• Baton / OC Spray Certification
• CPR / AED / First Aid Certification (Adult & Child)
• Government-mandated training (e.g., NWDTP, orientation requirements)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Control access through established entry control points
• Verify credentials and screen personnel, visitors, and vehicles
• Prevent unauthorized access and enforce sites security protocols
• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas
• Respond to incidents, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, security threats, and hazardous conditions
• Secure and preserve incident scenes for investigation
• Prepare detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation
• Enforce rules, regulations, and directives in a professional manner
• Provide force protection and maintain a visible deterrent presence
• Perform all duties in accordance with post orders

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time / Contract
• Location: Government
• Schedule: Rotating shifts (include nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Compensation: Competitive, based on contract wage determination and experience

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must be physically capable of responding to emergencies
• Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments, including adverse weather
• Exposure to high-security and high-responsibility environments
• Must be able to carry duty gear and operate assigned equipment
