Human Resources/People Experience Advisor
Location: Richmond, VA--on site
Duration: 3 months, may be extended, but contract only
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm
Job Overview:
This contract People Experience Advisor supports day-to-day, on-site HR operations for the Richmond location, acting as the primary face-to-face HR contact when self-service/shared services aren’t available. The role handles employee/manager questions, HR portal navigation, policy interpretation, and operational process support requiring in-person interaction and documentation. Core delivery includes onboarding support, local learning delivery, time & attendance support, and local query resolution, with an emphasis on improving the employee experience and identifying service/process improvements.

People Experience Advisor is responsible for local execution of operational HR activities. The Advisor is the key point of contact to employees where self-service /shared services support is not available and sits within the local BU squad team. Where appropriate the PE Advisor will support implementation of local projects or initiatives.
High-Level Responsibilities
Use Business Unit knowledge to provide local HR services that are relevant and tailored to the needs of the BU/location (e.g. Time & Attendance support, etc.)
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the local BU/location; work as part of the BU squad, providing business intimacy and supporting with delivery of local HR services
• Escalate business specific queries to the BU People Experience Lead and functional queries to the relevant SSC team
• Key point of contactto employee and managers for HR related queries, self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, policy interpretation and process support requiring face-to-face interaction and hard copy documentation
• Responsible for focusing on employee experience and continuous improvement of end-to-end operational HR services
Responsible for delivery of the following services:
• ongoing onboarding
• local learning delivery
• time & attendance (plant)
• local query resolution
• Hourly recruitment (plant outside NA) PE Advisors in a non-shared service supported country and/or in a plant, will be responsible for delivery of end to end HR services
• Provides HR advice and guidance in relation to their BU, empowered to use their judgement and business knowledge to pre-empt any HR concerns and proactively seek solutions
• Supports documentation and implements local/ country specific policies
• Responsible for identifying service issues, proposing improvements and supporting implementing changes
• Supports the delivery of projects and initiatives within their country/BU
• Responsible for Employee Relations support (where service not provided by SSC
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, or if none, more experience.
- 3-5 years of experience
