Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform fiber splicing and installation of telecommunication networks.
- Install and configure Cisco routers and other networking equipment.
- Conduct field service operations including troubleshooting and repair of network issues.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with low voltage systems.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for testing electrical connections and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in service technician roles within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, Ethernet, and telephony systems.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and electrical experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools related to installation and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to various job sites.
