Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment and facility systems through preventive and corrective maintenance. This role minimizes equipment downtime, supports production, and ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and oil changes.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including injection molding machines, CNC equipment, vacuum furnaces, chillers, and auxiliary systems.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC, compressed air, utilities, and lighting.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Accurately document maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communicate equipment issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Basic computer proficiency, including CMMS and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with injection molding, CNC equipment, vacuum systems, or industrial process equipment is a plus.
- Forklift certification and technical training are preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
