What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at C4 FARMS?
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible caregiver to provide personal care and supervision in a private home setting. The caregiver will be responsible for following a detailed day or night shift care checklist, including assisting with meals, personal hygiene, brief changes and regular checks, mobility and transfers, medication reminders/administration as directed, skin and safety checks, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. Day-shift responsibilities may also include preparing meals, dishes, laundry, taking out trash, light housekeeping, and assisting with the daily routine. Night caregivers are expected to remain attentive throughout the entire shift, perform required checks, assist with repositioning and personal care, respond promptly when needed, and complete all assigned responsibilities before shift change. This is an active caregiving position, not simply a sitting or companion position.
We are looking for someone who understands that dependability, accountability, communication, and professionalism are just as important as providing good physical care. Caregivers are expected to arrive on time, communicate immediately if there is a problem or delay, complete and accurately document required care, follow household expectations, and accept constructive feedback professionally. Schedule changes or shift swaps must be communicated and approved rather than arranged without notice. We want caregivers who work as a team, communicate respectfully with the family and other caregivers, ask questions when something is unclear, report changes or concerns regarding Dad's condition, and leave the home and care responsibilities ready for the next shift. Our goal is to build a trustworthy caregiver team where everyone feels supported and appreciated while understanding that Dad's safety, dignity, cleanliness, comfort, and quality of care must always come first.
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
