Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Production Welder will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our welding processes, contributing to the production of high-quality welded components and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Operations: Perform  MIG welding, on a range of steel material thicknesses.

• Blending: Using a variety of sanding disks and polish pads to shape and blend welds to create a seamless appearance on products.

• Setup and Maintenance: Set up welding equipment, select appropriate tools, and ensure they are in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to keep it operational.

• Quality Assurance: Produce products that meet our quality standards and specifications.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to produce accurate welds and assemblies.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

• Productivity: Meet or exceed production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Material Handling: Safely handle and move materials and products, ensuring proper storage and organization.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including production logs and quality control documentation.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including welders, fabricators, and supervisors, to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest improvements to welding procedures and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational welding certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials, and to work in various environmental conditions.

• Problem-solving skills and adaptability, and desire to learn and improve.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $19 / Hour Starting, Quota based raise system available after completion of probationary period.

• Monday - Thursday

• 7:00AM - 5:00PM

• Overtime available when approved by management
