C4 Equipment Rental & Sales is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Reservation & Customer Service agent to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a strong, supportive team, provides outstanding customer service, and thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, you’ll support customers and team members through accurate reservation placement, equipment scheduling, and efficient distribution of rental equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming and outgoing calls to support customers with reservations, questions, and service needs
- Support field team members with equipment coordination, reservation management, and scheduling
- Review daily and weekly reports to ensure accurate placement of equipment and availability
- Verify customer reservations, contracts, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor equipment status to support efficient distribution and fleet utilization
- Maintain accurate records within the reservation and dispatch systems
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Operational Responsibilities
- Assist customers with products, services, and rental needs
- Prepare rental invoices and process payments
- Receive and inspect equipment returned from rental
- Support the Site Manager with daily facility operations
- Show equipment to customers, explain rental terms, and prepare rental contracts
- Perform general property cleanup and routine lot tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phone systems
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Proficiency with Word, email, and basic computer applications
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and helpful
- Strong time‑management abilities and the capacity to multitask
- Adaptable to ever changing needs of business and organizational skills a must
Physical Demands
This position requires periods of physical activity, including remaining stationery for extended periods, moving throughout indoor and outdoor work areas, and positioning oneself to access equipment or materials at varying heights. The role also involves lifting or maneuvering equipment and components weighing at least 50 lbs., assisted or unassisted.
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (twice monthly
