Job Summary
The Receiving Clerk will verify all items that come into the warehouse to ensure that the item quantity, packing slip quantity match what is inputted into the system. These goods and commodities may include many types of products such as electronic components, machine parts and or assemblies, chemicals, and packaging materials.

The Receiving Clerk will verify all items that come into the warehouse to ensure that the item quantity, packing slip quantity match what is inputted into the system. These goods and commodities may include many types of products such as electronic components, machine parts and or assemblies, chemicals, and packaging materials.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive items into the system
- Be the point of contact with QA and Procurement Departments on receiving issues.
- Unload and load trucks as needed.
- Maintains all receiving records and keep them filed.
- Will receiving items in the system once all verification has been done on the parts (this will include counting all items to ensure the qty that came in matches the packing slip and service tag.
- If items have a shortage, it will be given the shortage clerk to take care of right away.
- Scan all receiving docs into the system after the receipt is done.
- Keeps receiving area dirt free and neat.
- Will work on other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
- Have warehouse receiving experience
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to respect deadlines and to efficiently interrelate with other workers.
- Must have excellent workmanship skills.
- Must have VERY high attention to detail.
- Meets passing requirements to obtain a Security clearance.
- Must be adaptive to a high-volume production environment and integrate as an active team member with a positive can-do attitude.
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, capable of multitasking.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to interpret various forms of assembly documentation.
- Must be focused and have high attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and be eligible to obtain a passport.
- Must pass Security background screening process.
- Ability to handle materials safely and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Become a functional and dependable part of a team.
- Must be able to work over-time as needed
- The work environment is one of a Warehouse
- 9/80 Work schedule or as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
