Forklift Driver - Electric

8am-430pm, Contract to Hire! This is for an electric forklift, if you have experience in propane, still apply as we have other locations.

1 year material handler experience; hand held scanner experience beneficial

Pass the material handler forklift aptitude, written, & drivers’ evaluation test

Pass the STA-Security Threat Assessment test

Good verbal communication skills, with use of walkie-talkies (if applicable)

Summary of essential job functions

Safe movement of product throughout the facility with the use of a forklift

Perform daily hilo checklist, notify Supervisor of any issues

Follow all handbook, material handler, and safety guidelines

Daily tasks depend on the department/area assigned and may include:

Reviewing/following appointment schedules; load/unloading product from docks or trailers; scanning product in and out of locations using Core hand scanners; inspecting, tallying and labeling product; using of FIFO method to put away product or stage FGI; and/or handling and sorting packaging materials like pallets, foam, recycled materials and dunnage

Abilities required

Willingness to work overtime on short notice
