Role Description
We’re hiring a Controller to oversee and strengthen our financial operations as we continue to grow. You’ll manage accounting, payroll, billing, collections, and compliance — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency across all financial activities.
This is an on-site position in Livonia, ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to take ownership. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, billing, A/R, A/P, and banking
- Maintain and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online
- Oversee payroll processing and invoicing through TempWorks
- Track receivables, payables, and cash flow to support strong financial health
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Handle insurance, tax filings, and compliance requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency
- Partner with leadership to provide clear, timely financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of accounting or financial management experience (staffing or service industry a plus)
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and dependable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
