Production Assistant
Time Requirements

Job Summary
The Production Assistant will assist the Production Director and C3’s Production Areas (Family Ministries, Adult Weekend Services, C3 Small Groups and outside events) with training new tech volunteers, connecting with tech volunteers, implementing innovative programs to help volunteers be successful and problem-solving technical issues as they arise. During the week, this position will focus on volunteer connection and growth as well as help with the installation of new equipment. This position will include technical and leadership training under the Production Director. The Production Assistant will also have the opportunity to help with other C3 events throughout the year such as Children’s Camp, Youth Camp and other events that may arise.

Primary Duties
- Problem solve issues as they arise.
- Maintain and oversee the tech equipment in C3’s spaces.
- Purchase, maintain and update technical equipment as needed.
- Oversee the growth and development of the Family Ministries Production Team.
- Assist with Adult Weekend Services as needed on a regular basis.
- Assist with the production volunteer schedule as needed for the Production Bus / Youth Service on Sundays
- Distribute curriculum and media needed on Sundays for Power Kids and Youth.
- Recruit and supervise a team of youth production volunteers spanning multiple spaces.
- Effectively learn programs as they are incorporated into the Sunday Morning Program.
Experience and Qualifications
- Prefer 2 Years’ of experience in related field (Audio/ Visual/ Lighting)
- Preferable knowledge with Renewed Vision and Hog 4 software.
- Preferable knowledge of basic sound engineering.
- Ability to organize, update and execute the volunteer database.
- Ability to solder and use power tools.
- Ability to interpret line diagrams.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Leadership experience and the ability to recruit, supervise, schedule, a team of volunteers.
- Understanding of lighting and DMX protocol.
