Status: Part-Time | Hourly (28hrs Split between Discipleship/Outreach & Care)
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Job Summary
To serve C3 by providing high-level administrative and ministry support to the Discipleship & Outreach Pastor and the Care Pastor. This role is essential in helping ministry environments run smoothly, ensuring events and gatherings are organized with excellence, and supporting systems that help people grow in their faith, serve others, and experience meaningful care.
Duties and Responsibilities
Discipleship and Outreach Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Discipleship & Outreach Pastor.
- Prepare documents, reports, and materials for meetings, classes, and ministry initiatives.
- Help track participation and engagement in discipleship environments.
- Coordinate and execute
Rooted experiences, including sign-ups, group placement, communication, and logistics. - Assist in planning and executing Rooted gatherings, celebrations, and special events.
- Ensure all materials, spaces, and communications are prepared with excellence.
- Provide administrative support for
Home Groups, including leader communication, onboarding, and resource distribution. - Maintain accurate group records and assist with seasonal group launches and transitions.
- Help create clear and simple pathways for people to join and engage in groups.
- Assist in organizing and executing
serve opportunities connected to Rooted and church-wide outreach initiatives. - Coordinate logistics such as sign-ups, communication, materials, and volunteer coordination.
- Support the Discipleship & Outreach Pastor in helping other C3 ministries integrate
serve initiatives into their environments. - Assist with communication and organization related to local outreach efforts and partnerships as needed.
Care Support
- Provide administrative support to the Care Pastor, including scheduling, communication, and ministry coordination.
- Support care ministry groups including, but not limited to,
Seniors, Grief Share, Visitation, and other care-focused environments. - Assist with organization, communication, and logistics for care ministry gatherings and initiatives.
- Assist with
baptisms and communion as requested by the Care Pastor and C3 ministry teams. - Help coordinate logistics, materials, and communication to ensure these moments are meaningful and well-executed.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors about departmental issues.
- Assist supervisors with special projects, events, and diverse tasks in support of C3.
- Attend any department meetings, regular all-staff meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Utilize a thorough understanding of C3 employee policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ongoing financial support for ministries of C3.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment.
- Cooperate with leadership by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

- Strong computer skills, including familiarity and experience with a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with church management software (CCB, Planning Center, etc.) is a plus.

- Ability to handle constantly changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Experience: 3 years of experience in administrative support, ministry coordination, or operations, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
Working Conditions and Requirements of Office Environment
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
