Product Manager - Defense and Intelligence

As a Defense & Intelligence Product Manager, you will lead C3 AI’s efforts to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions for mission-critical federal use cases such as logistics, entity correlation, and enterprise planning. Drawing on your experience in the Military, Federal Civilian service, or similar roles, you will gain deep expertise in our products and help shape applications that deliver measurable value to federal customers.

You will partner with customers and internal teams throughout the planning, design, and implementation of C3 AI applications, ensuring successful outcomes and advancing digital transformation across the Federal and Aerospace & Defense sectors.

You will define and manage SaaS products that solve complex challenges and unlock opportunities in defense and intelligence. The C3 AI Defense & Intelligence Product Suite includes interoperable, next-generation AI applications addressing use cases from contested logistics to joint all-domain command and control. These applications operate on a unified data model integrating diverse enterprise and external data sources.

Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of defense applications and intelligence use cases, the defense technology ecosystem, and warfighter and logistician users. Prior experience with analytics, data management, and AI technologies is highly desired. A strong work ethic, agility, hands-on approach, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and own all aspects of your SaaS products, including:
• Vision for a comprehensive feature roadmap
• Detailed product specification documentation
• User experience, customer satisfaction, and QA
• Market positioning and customer targeting and segmentation
• Differentiated collateral to support sales, including customer testimonials and case studies
• Develop a thorough understanding of C3 AI SaaS Applications to clearly communicate technical capabilities and business impact to customers
• Support pre-sales activities (demos, trials, proofs-of-concept, etc.) to ensure consistent and successful use of existing SaaS applications across our global customer base
• Positively influence sales, engineering, and customers to ensure success of your product
• Collaborate with the C3 AI Customer Delivery team to ensure our customers deliver on their Digital Transformation Vision
• Effectively and proactively communicate with customers and build a trusted advisor relationship
• Regular travel (25 %) to customer sites
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM field; MBA or Master of Science preferred
• At least 4 years of experience delivering compelling new products to market
• At least 2 years of experience with defense applications and implementations. US Military Veteran status (or Reserve status) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrable domain expertise in messaging, positioning, content creation, sales collateral, go-to-market strategies, AI-based application development, or digital marketing and targeting
• Experience managing and developing new product marketing programs with clear data-driven results
• Experience managing and researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing
• Ability to develop product strategy and execute against strategic plans
• Experience collaborating effectively with sales, marketing, engineering, data science, and user experience to achieve results
• Strong problem-solving skills and bias for action – you have the ability to navigate both business and technical domains and will guide internal and external implementation teams
• Time-management and prioritization – you are comfortable simultaneously working across many projects, both collaboratively across diverse teams (including customer-facing and internal teams) and self-starting initiatives
• Desire to quickly grow subject matter expertise in intelligence and law enforcement use cases – you are excited to learn about both C3 AI technology and relevant applications across the real estate sector
• Value self-learning – you habitually further your understanding of relevant areas of interest, such as AI, cloud computing, and software development
