Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sabine Pass, TX, for a Quantity Surveyor (Pipe & Steel). In this role, you will prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), oversee cost estimations and cost planning, and ensure efficient cost control and cost reporting processes throughout project lifecycles. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project budgets are adhered to while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure adherence to financial goals and optimization of resource use.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Skills in Cost Planning and developing accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Competence in generating detailed Cost Reports and analyzing project expenditure effectively.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Understanding of project management principles, particularly in piping and steel construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in energy or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
