Sales Representative

Position Overview

We're looking for a driven Sales Representative to grow our footprint in the greater Birmingham market. This is a true hunter role. You'll bring existing knowledge of the low-voltage and security industry, use it to identify and prospect new end-user and property owner opportunities, and drive them to close. This role is focused on building new client relationships and adding new logos to the business.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities across security and structured cabling and security in the Birmingham metro and surrounding markets
• Identify and build relationships with new end-users, property owners, and facility decision-makers — adding new logos to the business
• Qualify opportunities and hand off scoping, estimating, and plan/spec work to our preconstruction and estimating team
• Manage a pipeline and prospecting activity using clear scorecards and metrics
• Represent C2 at industry events and client meetings to build brand presence in the Birmingham market

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of sales experience specifically in low-voltage or security systems (structured cabling, access control, video surveillance) — industry knowledge is a must
• A true hunter mentality with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new logos, not just managing existing accounts
• Established network or familiarity with Birmingham-area end-users, property owners, and facility decision-makers a significant plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-through
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy but wants to be part of a structured, metrics-driven team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel
