Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for making sure that sales take place on a daily basis. The incumbent will provide correct staffing levels and training the employees so that they may function correctly.
Responsibilities and Duties
Customer Service (40%) The manager will spend time servicing customers in the retail area, on the range and on the phone. Service includes direct sales to customers, members, answering questions on products/services.
Administrative Activities (30%) The incumbent will allocate some time toward administrative functions of the sales floor and its employees. This will include reporting, inventory tracking and counts, payroll hours review, employee scheduling, along with other admin duties as assigned.
Employee Maintenance (30%) The incumbent will allocate time toward maintaining the employees through continued training, sales techniques and communications with the employees.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Providing direct sales to customers and members of products offered by C2 Tactical
- Providing direct sales to customers and members on classes and membership
- Providing direct support of customers on products and services offered by C2 Tactical: answering questions on products, providing demonstrations of proper use of firearms, demonstration of holsters, suggesting cleaning products and other general questions customers may offer
- Successfully complete daily duties as assigned and listed on the check sheets
- Accurately counting inventory items and providing completed reports on time throughout the day
- Opening and closing the computer register, correcting errors where they occur
- Communicating to customers over the phone including being able to provide directions
- Ensuring proper staffing levels on the sales floor at all times
- Providing feedback to employees on performance and quality of work
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Skills
- Customer service experience required
- Sales experience required
- Firearms knowledge preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds over your head
- Able to stand for long periods of time
