Position Summary
The**Career Counselor (CC)**is a pivotal role on the career center team. Essential Functions
- Provides a comprehensive assessment to include career aptitude assessments to help identify needs, and evaluate the customers interests, skills, and abilities.
- Recommend helpful workforce programs and services at the local, state, and federal level that customers are eligible to participate in.
- Provides customers with interview and resume assistance, soft skill development, and recommends additional training opportunities.
- Provides information on the local job market, employment services and resources, educational opportunities, and other available services.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates or undergraduate degree preferred.
- (1) year of relevant experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license and proof of insurance with good driving record.
- Ability to relocate within the service delivery area.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
