Accounts Receivable Associate

Perform accounts receivable functions through reviewing amounts owed the company by customers or clients while providing timely responses and excellent service to the Company’s internal and external customers. Paid time off Competitive wages Growth opportunities What you'll do: Commercial and industrial collections • Maintain accurate recurring receivables schedule • Responds to inquires from customers or clients and research/resolve concerns or discrepancies • Reconciles accounts and payments • Troubleshoot system problems when required • Provide branch customer service by answering questions and resolving customer issues • Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management. Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required • Associates Degree in Accounting is preferred • Great Plains and Basis experience a plus • Previous coursework in accounting preferred. • Operate standard office equipment (i.e., personal computer, facsimile, copy machine, etc.) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word and Excel What's required: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
