Our Patient Care Novices work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing high quality patient care at Franciscan Health. This is an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on care and gain experience recognizing signs and symptoms and how to respond. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Professional Development Opportunities Faith-based, Mission-focused Organization 34 bed post-surgical unit- general surgery post op- bariatric, GI, colon, rectal, medical overflow Patient Population ages 18-65 QUALIFICATIONS A team-oriented Nursing Student willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs. -Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing program fully accredited by either the CCNE (Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education) or NLNAC (National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission).
