Of our 260 locations, many are nationally recognized Centers of Health Care Excellence. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, work an 8-hour shift between 730a-430p. Will float within Michigan City area to cover in other practices. Provide exemplary customer service; greet and direct patients, family members, and other visitors. Answer incoming calls; respond to inquiries, or direct caller to appropriate staff for assistance. Schedule appointments and accurately enters data into scheduling system. Register patients and enters or updates demographic and insurance information into EMR system. Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow and update waiting patients. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Seeking someone who communicates well, works collaboratively with the team, remains positive in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable providing a welcoming experience for patients both in person and over the phone. Previous healthcare or medical office experience is preferred Collect patient payments; applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts. Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
