Franciscan Health Main St Outpatient Center 1201 S Main St Crown Point, Indiana 46307 The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the development of a plan of care, including implementing, reassessing, evaluating and revising the plan of care. The RN develops these patient-specific plans by performing psychosocial/physiologic assessments, considering patients' cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs, reviewing trends of similar patients, as well as considering physicians' orders regarding care. The RN integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care to include patient and family education, and actively supports and incorporates nursing regulations and standards, as well as Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures in daily practice. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Minimum Start Pay of $34/hour Professional Development Opportunities Faith-based, Mission-focused Organization Outpatient Infusion Patient ratios are treatment dependent. Including Biologics and Immunologic treatments and Antibiotics and Chemotherapy. Full-time /Mon-Fri/ Weekends and Holidays rotation required/ 7am, 7:30 am or 8am Start Times. A didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment 1201 S Main St Crown Point, IN QUALIFICATIONS A team-oriented RN willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs. ONS certification required within 6 months of starting position. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) 2-year RN experience required Exceptional vascular access skills (IV insertion and Port - PICC line skills) required.
