WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT 7a-330p M-F with call rotation and holiday rotation Assists in annual budget preparation and monitors expenditures to ensure achievement of budget projections. Assists with ACR, HFAP, ISBOH, IDPH and IEMA and other survey readiness. Maintains quality program and investigates and follows up on special cases or complaints to provide quality care. Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews. Researches, develops, and maintains technical policy, exams, and procedure manuals. Implements new exams and procedures to sustain progressive development. Schedules and delegates work assignments to coworkers according to department needs in an effective and efficient manner. Provides adequate patient education for procedure and protocol preparation. Provide communication between hospitals and other departments to keep standards high during interdepartmental business. Provide direct patient care as necessary; gather information on patients illnesses and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures for therapy and explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and answer patient questions. Inspect and operate equipment; make sure machine is set correctly. Implement training/education of new and current staff.
