Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Campus 20201 S Crawford Ave Olympia Fields, Illinois 60461 The Manager of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab supervises the activities and specialized functions relative to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, which may include electrophysiology laboratory and/or interventional radiology laboratory. This position provides leadership and directs functions of assigned patient care area on a 24-hour basis, and ensures effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. The Manager collaborates with the director and medical director, and/or the appropriate physician in the development or modification of test procedures and protocols. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Manage a busy Cath Lab Direct, control and maintain assigned areas of operations. Maintain unit/department/area expenses/productivity within established guidelines. Prepare Cardiology Scheduling. Maintain responsibility of annual unit budget. Responsible for overseeing operations within Interventional Radiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and for inter and intra-departments communications, special projects and services. Coordinate compliance with HFAP, State, and Federal agencies for assigned areas QUALIFICATIONS Associate's Degree Radiology Technologist - Required - OR - Bachelor's Degree Managed Care- Required - OR - Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Required - OR - Bachelor's Degree BSN required within 1 year of hire date - Required 3 years Radiologic Technologist - Required -OR- 3 years Registered Nurse in the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab Required - AND - 3 years Supervisory experience - Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire - Required - AND - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association -withing 90 days of hire - Required TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Never or Rarely JOB RANGE: Manager Cath Lab $95222.40-$130936.00 INCENTIVE: Not Applicable EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER It is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
