Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The EMT Paramedic (EMT-P) provides direct patient care in the pre-hospital setting to ensure optimal patient care. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment. Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program. Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies as required. Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care. Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director. Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff. Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including but not limited to scheduled and non-scheduled medications.
