About the Role
Western Valley Construction is looking for a dependable, hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our growing team. This position involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of roofing systems. Commercial and Residential. You’ll work outdoors, learn valuable trade skills, and have room for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and removing roofing materials (shingles, metal, tile, etc.)
- Load/unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Follow instructions from lead roofers and supervisors
- Perform tear-offs and debris removal
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions
- Comply with all safety standards and PPE requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a valid Real ID to apply
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working at heights and performing physical labor
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic understanding of safety practices
- Ability to follow directions and work well on a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Roofing or construction experience
- Familiarity with roofing tools and materials
- Ability to take accurate measurements
- Reliable transportation

Pay: $25.27 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
