Event Setup Technician and Janitorial Worker- Evenings

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 6PM - 2:30AM

Duties

• Set up event spaces efficiently by arranging furniture, equipment, signage, and decorations according to event specifications
• Break down and clean up after events, ensuring all areas are restored to original condition
• Perform detailed cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and surface disinfecting across various facility areas
• Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring surfaces
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Perform routine custodial maintenance including restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and general facility upkeep
• Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing and polishing floors
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and climbing ladders
• Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is preferred
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during evening shifts

Pay: $25.20 per hour

• This position will primarily have you doing event set up and breakdown work but when their are no events to support you will be asked to janitorial and grounds work. Are you comfortable with that?
