Landscaping Crew Member

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE & PAY INFORMATION:

• This position is scheduled for 35 HOURS PER WEEK
• Weekly pay
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Work hours are 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Occasional weekend work may be available depending on workload and weather conditions. Weekend shifts are optional and not mandatory.

JOB SUMMARY

C&W Lawn Care Plus II is seeking experienced and dependable Landscape Crew Members to join our commercial landscaping team. Applicants must have previous experience in commercial landscaping, outdoor maintenance, or groundskeeping and be comfortable working on roadways, commercial properties, and high-traffic areas.

This is a physically demanding outdoor position that requires professionalism, punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in Florida heat and weather conditions. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, follow instructions, respect their team, and maintain a strong work ethic daily.

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and related tools
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, debris removal, and general landscape maintenance
• Work safely on commercial properties, streets, sidewalks, medians, and roadside areas
• Maintain constant awareness of surrounding traffic, vehicles, pedestrians, and roadway hazards while working
• Follow all company safety procedures while operating equipment near active roadways and traffic areas
• Load, unload, and maintain landscaping equipment daily
• Complete assigned routes and tasks efficiently and professionally
• Communicate respectfully with crew leaders, drivers, and team members
• Maintain clean job sites and company equipment
• Assist with additional landscaping duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous commercial landscaping experience REQUIRED
• Experience operating landscaping equipment REQUIRED
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and physically demanding conditions
• Reliable transportation to work
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must have proper documentation and authorization to legally work in the United States
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

TEAMWORK EXPECTATIONS:
This is a team-based work environment. Employees are expected to assist one another throughout the workday. If an employee completes their assigned task before others, they are expected to help the rest of the crew until the entire job is completed.

Employees are not permitted to sit in company trucks or stop working simply because they finished their individual assignment. Teamwork, communication, and helping the crew complete routes efficiently are required at all times.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS:
Safety is extremely important in this position due to the nature of working near active streets and roadways. Employees must remain alert and aware of traffic conditions at all times while working. Failure to follow roadway safety procedures, safety instructions from crew leaders/drivers, or company safety policies will not be tolerated.

Employees who ignore safety rules, refuse to follow instructions, or place themselves or others at risk while working near traffic may be terminated immediately.

• Disrespect toward crew leaders, drivers, or coworkers
